He's not shy when it comes to baring his flesh. 

And Sacha Baron Cohen was at it again on Friday as he conducted an interview shirtless and from his bed.

The comedian swigged beer and took little notice of an unconscious woman lying next to him as he was interviewed by Sunrise's Steve Hargrave.

Promoting his newest film, The Brothers Grimsby, the star remained in character for the segment.

Introduced as Nobby, a beer-loving football fan from the north of England, he reserved no grace for the brief interview. 

Among those who did win his affections was co-star Rebel Wilson, of whom the comedian said: 'The girlfriend is played by this lass Rebel Wilson.' 

Also in the film is screen siren Penelope Cruz who plays the character of terrorist Rhonda George.

Speaking of the Spanish beauty, Sasha joked: 'I was so excited when I saw Penelope Cruz for the first time was in it. 

'I was literally shaking. She's amazing, this is one of the only films where they actually managed to convince her not to get her baps out.' 

Somewhat bemused, Steve was left awkwardly skirting Sacha's boozing and the snoring woman lying next to him in a state of undress.

Earlier he chatted to the comedian's wife, Isla Fisher, who also has a role in the film. 

Warning viewers of Sacha's unhinged character, she said: 'Brace yourself. I can't promise there won't be nudity.'

The Brothers Grimsby is the story of Sacha's character Nobby and his brother who is an MI6 spy.

Rebel Wilson takes on the role of Nobby's doting girlfriend, Dawn.
