Ivanka Trump has never let her pregnancy slow her down - and it seems that even in the final days before her expected due date, the soon-to-be mother-of-three refuses to sit back and put her feet up.

The 34-year-old was pictured heading out for a breakfast date with her husband Jared Kushner in New York on Thursday morning, looking impeccably dressed in a black-and-white knee-length dress which concealed her blooming baby bump, as well as a pair of strappy black heels.

Wearing her blonde hair in a half-up style, the pregnant businesswoman looked in good spirits as she held her husband's hand and gamely smiled at the waiting photographers.

She's almost ready to give birth. But you won't find Ivanka Trump on bed rest. The real estate heiress was spotted in NYC with her husband, Jared Kushner in a dress of her own design.

While sitting in the back of a black SUV, the couple rolled down the window and were pictured waving at the cameras, with Ivanka beaming in joy, no doubt in anticipation of the birth of her newborn baby, who will be a little sibling to the couple's four-year-old daughter Arabella and their two-year-old son Joseph, who did not accompany them on their breakfast outing.

Despite the chilly weather in New York on Thursday, Ivanka also opted to leave her legs bare, and stepped out without a jacket - while Jared bundled up against the cold in a thick black coat.

Ever the considerate gentleman, Jared paused at one point while the couple were making their way out of the building so that he could hold the door open for another mother who was pushing her small baby in a stroller - perfect preparation for his role as father to a newborn, which he will take on again in just a matter of days.

Earlier this week, Ivanka's father, presidential candidate Donald Trump, revealed during a news conference at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach that he believes his daughter could give birth 'within the week'.

Unsurprisingly, given how popular his daughter has proven with voters, the proud grandad beamed from ear to ear as he discussed the birth of his future grandchild, who will no doubt follow in his or her mother's footsteps and become something of a regular fixture during the last few months of Donald's campaign, helping him to woo voters across the country by boosting his profile as a family man.

Indeed, unlike many women in the final stages of their pregnancy, Ivanka has done little to try and rest or relax during the past few weeks and has, if anything, actually increased her working schedule in order to be by her father's side during much of his campaign.

Although the entrepreneur and designer did not appear at her father's Palm Beach event, she has been a constant presence throughout his campaign, standing alongside him during his victories in South Carolina less than two weeks ago, and New Hampshire.

And even though she was not present in Nevada to see her father claim victory, Ivanka still took a central role in the lead-up to the caucus, appearing in a campaign video for The Donald in which she urged voters to take part and have their say.

Following his victory in New Hampshire, Donald praised his daughter for playing such an integral part in his campaign, despite being so heavily pregnant, saying: 'Ivanka, she was out. She made seven stops today at the polling areas - so very, very special.'

But it's not just on the campaign trail that Ivanka has proven she isn't going to let her pregnancy stop her from getting out and living life to the full.

Over the weekend, the blonde took to Instagram to share a photo of herself playfully hanging from an arched tree branch that she came across during a Sunday walk in the woods.

Ivanka made an 'X' shape with her body as she stretched her arms above her head to reach the branch, keeping her legs hip-length apart.

The expectant mom was bundled up in an olive green jacket featuring a fur-lined collar and black leggings, completing her casual look with a wool hat and sneakers.

'Walking in the woods,' she captioned another snapshot of the tree-lined trail.

While some of her 773,000 followers deduced the New Yorker spent her Sunday upstate, another guessed she was walking the South Mountain Reservation in New Jersey.

Whether she is at work, helping her father Donald with his presidential campaign, or spending time with her husband Jared Kushner, 35, and their children Arabella, four, and Joseph, two, Ivanka has remained incredibly active throughout her third pregnancy.

On Friday, the proud mom shared a photo of herself lifting her giggling son to give him a kiss on the forehead, propping the toddler up on her knee, while grasping him around the legs and shoulders.

'Quality time with my little love before work,' she wrote, before adding: 'He is getting to be such a big boy.'

Last week, the entrepreneur took to Instagram to share a new image of her large baby bump, proudly posing in the mirror for the selfie, while wearing her 'favorite non-maternity maternity dress', a bright floral-print number from her eponymous clothing collection.

That same day, Ivanka also spent some much-needed time relaxing at home with her husband and their children ahead of the impending arrival of their newborn, who is due in early March.

Earlier this month, Ivanka celebrated her father's victory in South Carolina with a beaming family photo on Twitter.

'Happy Sunday!' she wrote alongside a photo of her clutching her son Joseph and daughter Arabella the morning after Donald Trump took a staggering 35.2 per cent of the vote in the Republican primary.

Just 12 hours earlier, Ivanka had been stood on stage in Spartanburg with the entire Trump clan - as her stepmother Melania joked that they had a hospital on standby in case she went into labor.

Ivanka, dressed in blue with red lipstick for the event, laughed as the attention was turned to her baby bump.

The Donald patted Ivanka's stomach with his hand and said: 'She insisted on being here. It was so important to Ivanka. She insisted on being here, so thank you. I have a great family, I just really want to thank all of you.

'And Ivanka, we have a hospital ready just in case and South Carolina, we're going to have a baby and there's nothing wrong with that,' Trump said as the crowd cheered.

Ivanka made seven campaign stops ahead of Tuesday's primary, traveling to New Hampshire even though she is eight months pregnant.

And after it was revealed that Donald had won the New Hampshire primarily, Ivanka proudly stoon on stage with her dad during his victory speech, in which he thanked Ivanka and the rest of his family.
