Party is still going! Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio celebrates with friends at club after his Best Actor win

On Sunday he finally landed Hollywood's biggest prize on the sixth time of trying.

And it looks like the celebrations were still going three days later for Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Oscar winner was spotted having a low-key shindig with friends at West Hollywood hot spot Villa Lounge on Wednesday night.

Tinseltown's newest Best Actor looked laid back dressed in jeans, a plaid shirt and one of his beloved flat caps. 

The 41-year-old finally shirked the monkey from his back at the 88th Academy Awards when he was finally recognised for his turn in fellow Oscar winner Alejandro G. Iñárritu's film The Revenant.

'Making The Revenant was about man's relationship to the natural world...climate change is real,' the actor said during his acceptance speech.

'It is happening right now. It is the most urgent threat facing our entire species and we need to work collectively together and stop procrastinating. We need to support leaders around the world who do not speak for the big polluters or the big corporations but for all people.'

'Let us not take our planet for granted,' he concluded. 'I do not take tonight for granted.' 

Yet immediately after the ceremony, Leo's top priority appeared to be chatting up the nearest blonde at hand at the after party, which if reports are to be believed, was Made In Chelsea star Lauren Hutton.

A source told The Sun: 'It wouldn't be a Leonardo DiCaprio after-party without a beautiful blonde present, and Lauren was the lucky girl.

 'They get on well. She was thrilled to be part of his night, especially considering how hard it was to get in.

'Guards were checking the passports of every guest and being aggressive with those not on the list. But Lauren swanned though. She's clearly his type.'

The newspaper claims the pair previously hooked up during his stay in London last month, when he partied for this year's BAFTAs.
