'We're the best we've ever been': Gaz Beadle can't hide his sentimental feelings over on/off girlfriend Charlotte Crosby during romantic Sydney break

They've enjoyed a tumultuous relationship both on and off the screen.  

But Gaz Beadle has hinted that this could be the time he makes his romance with Charlotte Crosby last forever as he gushed: 'We're the best we've ever been.'

Currently in Sydney doing some promotional work for Geordie Shore, the 27-year-old opened up about their current relationship status as he told Star magazine: 'I feel giddy around her and we can't wait to see each other.'

He continued: 'We've messed around but now we've dropped our guard.

'I've said if we get on well, she can meet me mam and granddad when we get back from Australia [sic].'

The couple have certainly proved to be loved-up in recent weeks, posting a stream of pictures on social media together.

However, the pair have displayed this pattern of affectionate behaviour in the past, following their very first tryst during season one of Geordie Shore back in 2011. 

Over the course of the 11 series, the pair have seen several break-ups and make-ups play out on screen.

Their most recent romantic encounter came last year, when they decided to give their relationship a go away from the cameras.

But appearing on This Morning in January, Charlotte explained that it wasn't to be: 'We spent some time together over Christmas,' she said.

'It was nice. I don’t think I want to go back there anymore... Nah. It's over now.'

But despite her damning words, the star seems so loved-up with her beau that they even recreated an iconic love scene from Titanic on Thursday as they enjoyed a day on the water in Sydney.

Standing on the front of a yacht, Charlotte stretched out her arms as Gaz stood behind her , reminiscent of Kate Winslet and Leonardo Di Caprio in the popular film. 

The duo were joined by shock jock Kyle Sandilands and his girlfriend Imogen Anthony, with a photograph of their tender moment later shared on the Kyle and Jackie O show Instagram page.

Charlotte and Gaz have been joined by their MTV co-stars for a week of promotional duties ahead of the 12th series of Geordie Shore.  

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia upon her arrival in Sydney, 25-year-old Charlotte revealed that things were finally back on track for the pair, admitting: 'We're getting on very well.'

It appears that after five years of being on and off, countless arguments and numerous other partners Charlotte believes the pair have finally grown up.

'It was always just kinda of a sex thing, although I obviously wanted it to be more and then we’ve grown up so much now that – I can’t even explain it but something is different now, something is really different – I think we’ve both matured,' she said.
