Sacha Baron Cohen arrived in character at The Brothers Grimsby premiere.

Fate intervened in the form of his gorgeous wife Isla Fisher as she joined the star at their film's unveiling in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Isla, 40, clearly stole this show the moment she set her black stiletto on the 'black' carpet while wearing a clingy black leather mini-dress that flaunted cleavage and her flawless legs.

Silly vs. sexy: Sacha Baron Cohen was certainly funny as he showed up to premiere of The Brothers Grimsby in character but his actress wife Isla Fisher stole the show in that leather dress

The copper-haired actress, who plays the supporting role of Jodie Figgis in the comedy-action flick, wore minimal make-up that included a coral lip gloss, a blending of blush and mascara and shimmery eye shadow, and she didn't need more.

Isla managed to pose to show off more of her simple yet sexy outfit, but soon found the spot beside her tall and gangling spouse once more.

Sacha, 44, was dressed in character, of course, as Carl 'Nobby' Butcher complete with denim capri trousers with a red baseball cap and sports shirt blasting his support of Donald Trump.

He also carried what looked like a gun prop and a glass of 'beer.'

While Sacha's get-up was truly remarkable, Isla got the last laugh as she stood beside him with ankles delicately crossed.

Sacha went around shaking hands with fans, signing autographs and posing for selfies while Isla basked in her own large spotlight.

Instead, the joker enlisted his wife Isla's help to sneak his famous costume backstage at the event in order to keep his appearance a surprise.

Isla certainly didn't look surprised as Sacha continued to mug for the cameras in that red cap that blasted Trump's often-repeated phrase: 'Make America great again' while pointing the gun at his head.

The offbeat comedy, which opens in US theatres on March 11, follows a rowdy football player (Cohen) who gets enlisted by his professional spy brother (Mark Strong) on a special assignment.

Others who made it to the event included the always lovely Kate Beckinsale, who also opted for a leather blended outfit.
