She's irresistibly unfiltered on her reality show Candidly Nicole where she shares her views on everything from relationships and style to the absurdities of life.

Nicole Richie was back to her casual offbeat self as she headed to the studio in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The 34-year-old mother-of-two, who recently travelled to Europe to support her husband's band Good Charlotte, clutched a 'Venti' Starbucks coffee to get her through another day at work.

In addition to the supersized caffeine fix, Nicole played mix and match with the patterns too, wearing a striped navy-themed shirt with a bright paisley jacket.

Faded blue jeans that were cuffed at the ankles above black pumps and a black leather handbag rounded out the eye-catching ensemble.

Nicole, who changed her hair back to blonde a few months ago, wore those tresses pulled back tight in a bun that displayed the platinum highlights and the darker lowlights.

She showed off her Bohemian style thanks to a row of stud earrings and a cluster of rings on her fingers.

Candidly Nicole ended its second season run on VH1 in September and the cable network has yet to announce a decision whether to bring it back for a third time.

Last month, it was Nicole went along for the ride as she trailed Good Charlotte - her husband Joel Madden's band with his brother Benji - as they toured across the UK and Ireland.

Good Charlotte supported the group All Time Low, but Nicole and Benji's wife Cameron Diaz were there to support their mates.

Nicole made it a family affair, bringing along the couple's children, daughter Harlow, seven, and son Sparrow, eight.

Sadly, Nicole had to miss out on her father Lionel Richie's star-studded tribute at the Grammy Awards.

Lionel was named MusiCares Person Of The Year and John Legend, Demi Lovato, Meghan Trainor, Tyrese Gibson and Luke Bryan performed some of the singer's biggest hits before the crooner joined them on stage.

Nicole sent her well wishes from miles away, however, tweeting: 'So proud! Dad you are dope - so awesome. Wishing I was there and beaming from across the pond.'
