It didn't take that sandwich long to end up Inside Amy Schumer.

The 34-year-old quickly wolfed down the snack between takes as she filmed scenes for her hit comedy show in New York on Thursday.

The comedienne was keeping warm in a fur-lined navy parka, which she wore over a light blue shirt and jeans, along with a pair of fur-lined Eskimo boots.

Her ever-glowing blonde tresses she kept loose in their trademark ringlets.

The Trainwrecked star looked 'normal' for a change, having previously  been spotted wearing ex-president masks for a sperm bank robbery and even having her head torn off via make-up and special effects as she shot the show.

Thursday marks the penultimate day of filming on season four of the comedy series, and she marked the occasion with an emotional TBT Instagram video of the night before her very first day of shooting.

'Tomorrow is my last day on camera filming Inside Amy season 4. I recorded this video 4 years ago the morning of our first day,' she wrote.

'I'm so proud of our show and I have done my best and so has the best crew in the world and the greatest writers and producers. I love you all like family.'

In the three-part clip a visibly nervous but excited Schumer tells the camera she can't sleep ahead of the big day.

'Today is the first day the cameras are going to be rolling on Inside Amy Schumer, and I promise it'll be funny,' she says. 'But right now I just feel really excited. I've another hour to sleep but I can't I'm too excited.

'Making this show is my dream come true,' she adds, 'and I can't believe it's here today.'

A day earlier, she faced a bit of a Twitter backlash after she posted a joke which some considered tasteless.

In the photograph, she stood between two musicians - one holding a saxophone, the other a bass clarinet - and captioned it 'a Jew with horns'.
