She celebrated a landmark birthday as she turned 50 last month.

But Cindy Crawford showed no signs of slowing down as she headed to work filming on an unknown project in West Hollywood on Thursday.

Clad in a pair of skinny jeans, the supermodel looked half her age as she waited patiently between scenes, taking the time to chat with the crew.

Nestling a large black handbag in the crook of her arm, she clutched a hot drink in her hand, no doubt a cup of coffee to keep her alert as she headed off to a charity event after filming.

Writing on Instagram, she posted: 'Every year, I tell my kids I'm retiring. It's a running joke in our family. And yet every year, opportunities pop up that really excite me.

'While it's true that I'm eager to shift my focus a bit to concentrate on my businesses, friends and family - I'm not making any final statements (not all headlines tell the whole story!).

She continued: 'I have loved being part of the fashion industry for the past 30 years - and if that time has taught me anything, it's this: never say never. Thanks for all the support, I'm so excited for what 2016 hold! xo Cindy.'

Meanwhile, on Twitter, the Vogue covergirl wrote: 'Headlines don't always tell the whole story. Thanks for the love everyone.'
