Smiling through the pain! Sarah Harding is in high spirits as she touches down in London after becoming sixth celebrity to quit The Jump due to leg injury

She was the sixth celebrity to withdraw from The Jump after a serious leg injury.

But Sarah Harding put on a brave face and was all smiles as she arrived at Gatwick airport.

The Girls Aloud beauty, 34, looked chic in a fur trimmed winter jacket and skinny jeans as she arrived with her leg bandaged up, looking glad to be back on British soil.

Sarah looked every inch the pop diva in her funky grey and white speckled winter coat with an over-sized furry hood. 

The Sound of the Underground singer opted for a fun and flirty look as she arrived at the airport in skinny jeans and fluffy boots earlier this week.

She hid her ash blonde locks under a trendy white cap, and rocked loose beach waves as she touched down in London after her short-lived stint in the show in Austria.

But the injured star got a helping hand from airport staff who shuttled her through after she arrived on British soil.

Sarah was devastated after she was forced to withdraw from the Channel 4 ski competition after a ligament in her leg was ruptured.

Before taking part in The Jump, Sarah Harding trained for six weeks. 

Other stars who injured themselves on the daredevil show included Olympic hero Beth Tweddle, who fell on the slopes during rehearsals for the celebrity show and needed neck surgery which involved having a piece of bone taken from her hip.

Meanwhile Olympic swimming medallist Rebecca Adlington, 27, withdrew from the show on medical advice after a shoulder injury.

She told host Davina McCall that the pain of the fall was 'the worst thing that has ever happened to me, it was worse than childbirth'.

Holby City actor Tina Hobley, 44, also left after dislocating her elbow and sustaining two fractures to her arm.

In another blow Made In Chelsea cast member Mark-Francis Vandelli, 26, left after fracturing his ankle, while the former sprinter Linford Christie, 55, pulled out because he was unable to recover in time from a hamstring injury.
