She just touched down in New York a few hours earlier.

But frequent flier Rita Ora appeared to be immune to jet-lag as she headed straight from the airport to an night on the town on Friday, joined by a male pal.

The 25-year-old star proved she was an expert at packing light, taking her laid-back ensemble from day to night thanks to a few simple tweaks.

Rita was rocking the same statement, fringed coat that she'd worn to catch her flight, as well as her trusty suede ankle boots.

The R.I.P. hitmaker switched things up for the evening in a yellow T-shirt and fitted leggings, topping off the look with a corduroy baker boy cap.

The singer kept a low profile under the eye-catching accessory, hiding behind a pair of round sunglasses and pulling her coat up to her neck.

Earlier in the day, Rita was seen sporting an equally eclectic look as she caught a flight from London to New York on Thursday night.

The X Factor judge layered up in a Janet Jackson T-shirt under a colourful coat, teamed with some statement accessories as she touched down at JFK airport.

She added a pair of black skinny jeans ripped at the knee and studded suede ankle boots.

Rita added a bold pop of colour with her statement coat, with the tasseled number featuring bold stripes and patches of red and blue.

The star finished off her outfit with a black leather baker boy cap perched on top of her tied-up locks.

She sported minimal makeup for the flight to the States, and seemed a little tired as she hurried to her car.
