Scott Waring believes an outline of a Boeing 777 can be seen beneath the water off the coast of Cape Town in South Africa. He makes the claim almost two years since Malaysian Airlines flight MH370 disappeared killing 239 people on board. Waring, who is editor of UFO Sightings Daily and well-known for his wild conspiracy theories, appears to suggest that the plane survived the mystery crash in one piece. The site of the debris find is about 1,200 miles from Cape Town, he says.

The Revenant director Alejandro González Inarritu has furiously denied claims he did not clap when costume designer Jenny Beavan won an Oscar. Liel Ainmar Assayag from Alberta, Canada, and her husband have three cats, including one adopted two-year-old kitty named Panda. An extreme skateboarder has set a new world record with a modified electric longboard, hitting nearly 60 miles per hour on flat ground. The risky feat landed 32-year-old Mischo Erban in the Guinness World Records, earning the record for fastest speed on an electric skateboard. The record-breaking attempt took place at Portoro airport in Piran, Slovenia, using a NEXTBoard from Next Generation Vehicles.

Jeanne Heintz, 91, has been going to see Springsteen shows since 1988. She was first pulled up on stage in 2009 (inset), in Des Moines, Iowa, and on Monday night in St Paul, Minnesota, the singer did it again. The singer got Heintz back up with him, twirling her around and even planting a kiss on her cheek (left). The music lover's daughter, Jackie Heintz, said that, given her age, it could well be her mother's last time seeing Springsteen live. 'What a way to end it. This is the moment a cat used a masterful fence leap to escape two dogs during a backyard chase that appears to have take place in the US. The white cat is captured on video as it rests in a backyard before the dogs are let out into the yard, and a chase quickly ensues. The feline is seen scurrying away before running up a tall fence and making a giant leap over it, landing in a neighboring backyard and leaving the dogs behind.
