Debbie Harry and Toyah Willcox feature in vintage photos from 1977 punk-era London

The largely-unseen photographs, taken in London between 1976 and 1978, capture a host of burgeoning stars from Debbie Harry to Adam Ant - as well as the fans who adored them. Photographer Derek Ridgers said: 'It was an incredible year; probably the last time a youth subculture would grow to have such a huge, worldwide effect.' Pictured are a hoard of energetic fans, with Toyal Wilcox (inset left) and Debbie harry (inset right)
