Looking for love again? Caila Quinn caught 'filming The Bachelorette' after teary elimination from The Bachelor

She was unceremoniously dumped on Monday's episode of The Bachelor.

But it looks like Caila Quinn may have a second chance at reality television love.

The 24-year-old software sales representative has reportedly been chosen as the 12th star of the Bachelorette after she was seen filming a purported segment for the reality series in her hometown of Hudson, Ohio, TMZ reported.

The news concerning the second runner-up to Ben Higgins' heart was also confirmed to Us Weekly by an eyewitness source.

The onlooker reported that they observed the brunette beauty 'filming her Bachelorette intro package.'

A bystander told TMZ that Caila was shooting 'something' on Wednesday around her hometown of Hudson, Ohio.

Camera crews followed her around to local spots including her alma mater, Western Reserve Academy.

The filming had all the signature makings of a classic Bachelorette scene, as Caila was spotted perched inside a gazebo looking thoughtfully onto the horizon.

The crew didn't specify what show they were shooting for but TMZ reported that spectators were asked to sign release forms to appear on television.

And one of the bachelors vying for the Bachelorette's heart will be Jordan Rodgers, who is the brother of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, Us Weekly reports, citing multiple sources.

The 27-year-old previously played football in Canada before retiring last year. His brother Aaron is currently dating actress Olivia Munn, and the couple attended the Academy Awards together last weekend.  

And while Caila was booted off the show after confessing her love for Ben, Lauren Bushnell, 26, and Joelle "JoJo" Fletcher, 25, are still in the running to become Mrs. Higgins.

Although it hasn't been officially announced, Caila appears to be a favourite for many, including last year's Bachelor Chris Soules.

He tweeted after her exit on Monday: 'Dry your tears @CailaQuinn I have a feeling you'll have 25 Plus of the most edible bachelors vying for your heart very soon.'

After the Women Tell All special next week, The Bachelor will air its season finale on March 14, followed by After The Final Rose, in which the new Bachelorette is usually revealed.
