She showed off her slender limbs at the Balmain Paris Fashion Week party on Thursday night.

And Jessica Alba upped the glamour stakes for the Dior runway on Friday in a stunning and sophisticated jacket and trouser combination.

The actress, 34, was sartorial perfection for the French fashion house's show, with not a hair or piece of fabric out of place.

The brunette beauty oozed class in a crisp white shirt with a bejewelled collar worn underneath a black blazer, which she teamed with three-quarter length sleeves.

A pair of ankle-length high-waisted red trousers added colour to the ensemble with her modest glossy heels complementing each individual garment.

Jessica's petite shimmering handbag was the perfect foil for her jewelled shirt, while her odd earrings, one dangly and the other a small hoop, adding a quirky element to her look.

As you'd expect the Christian Dior show at Paris Fashion Week is always a star studded affair.

Not only were Kendall Jenner and Binx Walton rocking the runway but the front row was full of style mavens like Kris Jenner, Rosamund Pike, Emmy Rossum, Riley Keough and Olivia Palermo.

Not forgetting Jessica Alba who looked fresh as a daisy after partying with Balmain last night. She is, of course, wearing Dior in trousers from the label's Pre-Fall 2016 collection. A cropped style like this can be tricky to pull off but if you get it right like Jessica then they're oh so chic.

We love the jeweled collar shirt, cropped cardigan and center parted hair as well. It's a tour de force so we're just, as ever, disappointed that Dior isn't available to buy online. But we have found plenty of similar burgundy culottes elsewhere on the virtual high street so you can recreate Jessica's look anyway.

Club Monaco has our top pick but Missguided has a bargain buy that's hard to beat.

Once inside the venue, Jessica caught up with Russian model Natalia Vodianova, 34, who was wearing a sophisticated off-white coat over a cream mini dress which she teamed with black leggings.

The museum's square courtyard had been transformed especially for the bi-annual event, this time creating a futuristic contrast to the architecture of the Seine's former royal palace with the use of a mirrored construction that bore the brand's name, Dior.

Friday afternoon's show, which was bringing traffic to a standstill in the French capital, was due to feature 20-year-old Kendall Jenner in the catwalk line-up, just as Balmain had the previous day.
