She dismissed claims that her cosy display with Leonardo DiCaprio at a BAFTAs after-party was anything more than friendly, insisting she was already in a relationship

But just weeks after her encounter with the Hollywood movie star, it's been revealed that Laura Whitmore, 30, has 'split' from her rocker boyfriend Rory Williams.

Speaking to The Mirror's 3am, a source claimed the couple had decided to call it a day because the Sunset Sons musician wanted concentrate on his music career - although it's claimed Leo-gate only added more strain to their romance.

'Things haven’t worked out with Laura and Rory. Some of her friends think they are still going out but he’s getting on with his music and doing his own thing,' an insider dished.

'What happened with Leo didn’t help the situation either. It just created a lot of unwanted attention.'

The MTV presenter began dating Rory, 29, last summer after they met at a music festival, before cementing their relationship with a loved-up getaway to Ibiza.

The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Now! host and her beau appeared to be taking things up a notch earlier this year when the blonde bombshell reportedly introduced Rory to her family during a trip around her native Ireland in January.

Their split may come as awkward timing given that the TV presenter was linked to Leo mere weeks ago.

Reports claimed the 41-year-old made a beeline for the gorgeous starlet, with photos showing them looking familiar at a post-ceremony party.

However, Laura made every attempt to play down any romance accusations, telling Hello! magazine: 'Everyone was just having fun – there was a lot of dancing.' 

Earlier this week, Laura posted a cryptic quote which read: 'To live continually in thoughts of ill will, cynicism, suspicion and envy, is to be confined in a self-made prison hole.'
