Living the good life! Lachlan Murdoch sports bushy beard and portly figure as he suits up for father Rupert's wedding rehearsal

It seemed as though all of London was out to witness Rupert Murdoch say 'I Do' for the fourth - and hopefully final - time to former supermodel Jerry Hall on Friday.

But before the couple hold a second ceremony on Saturday, family were seen arriving at Fleet Street for an intimate wedding rehearsal.

Among them was of course the media mogul's son Lachlan, who very much looked to be enjoying the good life as he was seen striding towards St Bride's chapel.

Dressed in pressed blue shirt and dark trousers, the 44-year-old sported a rather scruffy looking beard and more relaxed figure which he hid behind a heavy winter coat.

His hair was spiked up with a touch of product and he opted for a smart, ice blue tie with a simple pattern.

Rupert and Jerry officially married during a low-key ceremony at Spencer House, overlooking Green Park, in central London, on Friday following a whirlwind five-month romance.

However celebrations are set to continue into the weekend with the newlyweds holding a private ceremony of celebration at St Bride's Church where around 100 guests will attend including the groom's six and bride's four children.

Tight security surrounded the church on Friday afternoon as family piled in for a rehearsal ahead of the second ceremony. 

Rupert arrived accompanied by two of his daughters, 14-year-old Grace, and Chloe, 12, while the bride arrived separately and dressed in the same outfit she wore to say her vows earlier that day.

Jerry's daughters Elizabeth, 32, and Georgia May Jagger, 23, were also photographer arriving for the rehearsal.

Despite it not being the real deal, Lachlan was sure to dress sharply for the occasion but was certainly looking less formal than he did in the black tux and crisp white shirt he wore just a matter of days earlier to the glitzy Vanity Fair Oscars after-party alongside his stunning wife Sarah in Los Angeles.

On that occasion Sarah had slipped her lithe figure into a red-carpet worthy gown with a daringly plunging neckline that displayed no small amount of cleavage.
