She has been single since splitting from toyboy Jonathan Bricklin, but Susan Sarandon spent time with one of the most important men in her life on Friday.

The 69-year-old was spotted enjoying an evening with son Jack Henry Robbins during a trip to Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.

Susan went arm-in-arm with the 26-year-old as they strolled around town, while dressed to impress.

The actress looked elegant in a figure-hugging white dress that was reminiscent of a toga, and clung to her trim figure.

Susan also sported a pair of red wedges and carried a gold clutch bag, finishing off her evening look by sweeping her auburn hair into an updo and applying a little make-up.

Meanwhile Jack, a film director, looked suave in a black suit and shirt with brown dress shoes.

The pair were heading to Cartagena Cinema Festival, where Susan posed on the red carpet in her curve-hugging gown.

Earlier in the day, Susan shared an Instagram post which showed her being presented with the keys to the city.

'I now have the keys to the city of Cartagena de Indias,' she captioned the smiling snapshot. 'Going out now to see what doors they open!'

Susan was then seen exploring with a group of people, including Jack, while dressed in a casual outfit.

Susan Sarandon is proof that getting older doesn't mean you have to slow down in the style stakes.

She was pictured doing a spot of sightseeing in Colombia wearing a pair of statement wide leg trousers, which she teamed with flat sandals and a white top. Jack is Susan's eldest son with her former partner, actor Tim Robbins. They also have 23-year-old Miles Guthrie together.

The actress is additionally mother to 30-year-old actress Eva Amurri from her relationship with Italian filmmaker Franco Amurri.

Susan can next be seen in The Meddler as an overbearing mother who moves to New York City with her daughter after her husband passes away.

Susan also voices a character for animated film Spark and will star alongside Kit Harington, Natalie Portman and Jessica Chastain in drama The Death and Life of John F. Donovan.
