But Rachel Weisz was clearly off-duty when she stepped out in New York City on Monday morning.

The British actress, 46, was spotted in Manhattan with her son, Henry Aronofsky, with whom she was enjoying a carefree stroll through the Big Apple.

Looking relaxed as she cut a dash through the trendy East Village, the brunette beauty certainly cut a maternal figure during the outing.

Wearing a fitted, tan-coloured coat with leather panels on the arms, she'd visibly dressed for the weather and ensured she stayed warm with a cosy hat and scarf set.

She matched the look with a pair of burgundy-coloured jeans and matching gloves.

Adding a pair of suede ankle boots to the mix, she accessorised with a brown leather handbag which she draped over her shoulder.

All-smiles as she chatted with her boy, the wife of Bond star Daniel Craig appeared to be on good form as she enjoyed a rare, family-orientated day off.

Young Henry - her son with American film director Darren Aronofsky - also looked kitted-out for a comfortable expedition.
