She may have been nominated for an Academy Award and is one of the world's most revered actresses but turns out she has what many other celebrities lack - balance.

Felicity Huffman proved she has some serious skills when it comes to riding the transportation of the future on Friday.

The 53-year-old made hopping up on a hoverboard look easy at the GBK & LifeCell 2016 Pre-Oscar Lounge in West Hollywood, California, on Friday.

The Transamerica star looked like a pro as she kicked off her shoes and stood up on the red Swagway.

The only thing giving her away as not a professional Swagway rider was the slightly comical face she pulled as she got her balance.

And not only did the star do great on the board, she looked good on the board too.

The 53-year-old went for a casual vibe for her day at the gifting suit wearing a pair of tight blue jeans with a black tank and matching suit jacket plus, when she was not on her Swagway, a pair of leopard print shoes.

If the shoes are a nod to her love of safaris, that was handy as the event also gave celebrity attendees a chance to have a VIP tour of San Diego's famous zoo, which turns 100 this year, and its Safari Park.

The American Crime star was spotted spending some time at the lounge which was spread out over a floor of the London Hotel.

And who could blame her, as once she and the other celebs were done, they walk away with around $20,000 of goodies including a trip to the Belmond La Samanna in St. Martin and also SureSculpt laser treatments from Beverly Hills' Alessi Institute.

But Felicity was not the only one ensuring she has got everyone on her Christmas list sorted two months into the year.

Also spotted at the lounge on Friday was Eric Roberts, Luis Guzman - who found a merman mate - and Elizabeth Daily.

It was not all just freebies and gadgets however, with stars stopping by booths by Face Forward, and organization that does pro bono reconstructive surgery for victims of domestic violence and Lambda Legal which is working towards gaining full civil rights the LGBT community.
