Date night! Olivia Wilde looks casual but chic in red and black outfit as she joins Jason Sudeikis at Actors' Choice Gala

They are parents to son Otis, who will celebrate his second birthday next month.

But it was a date night for Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis on Monday, as they left their little one at home and headed to the Atlanta Theater Company Actors' Choice Gala in New York City.

As always, 31-year-old Olivia looked lovely, picking a casual but chic outfit for the event.

The actress wore a red blazer over a matching knitted jumper, with '1970' printed across the front in black.

Olivia also sported a pair of black flared trousers and matching platform boots, sweeping her caramel hair into a fuss-free side plait.

The Vinyl star had been wearing a cream wool coat as she arrived at the event, but removed it before stepping onto the red carpet.

Olivia finished off her look with just a touch of natural make-up to highlight her gorgeous features, along with some winged black eyeliner.

Meanwhile Jason, 40, cut a suave figure in a navy blazer over a blue shirt and tie, as well as green corduroy trousers and battered brown lace-up shoes.

The happy couple posed for photos with their good friend and Jason's Last Man On Earth co-star Will Forte, who is looking like his old self again after shaving off half of his beard and hair.

Mary Steenburgen, who also stars in the comedy series, was another celebrity guest in attendance.

The actress looked far younger than her 63 years in a pretty and colourful floral print dress, as she cuddled up to husband of 20 years Ted Danson, 68.

Olivia and Jason are back in New York after attending the Oscars on February 28 in Hollywood, where Olivia presented alongside Sacha Baron Cohen, who was in character as Ali G.

The actress was also there as executive producer of Body Team 12, which was nominated for Best Documentary (Short Subject), but lost to A Girl in the River: The Price of Forgiveness.

Olivia is currently starring as Devon Finestra in HBO series Vinyl, which was created by Terence Winter, Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese.

The mother-of-one portrays the wife of Bobby Canavale's protagonist in the show, which has so far aired two episodes.

Meanwhile Olivia recently completed work on Black Dog, Red Dog, a biopic about journalist turned poet Stephen Dobyns.

The movie additionally stars James Franco, Chloë Sevigny and Whoopi Goldberg, with Logan Marshall-Green as the central character, and is due for release later this year.

The star, born Olivia Cockburn, started dating Jason in November 2011 and they have been engaged for three years. They welcomed son Otis on April 20, 2014.

Olivia was previously married to Tao Ruspoli, whose father is Prince Alessandro Ruspol, from 2003 until 2011. 

Meanwhile Jason tied the knot with 30 Rock writer Kay Cannon in 2004 after five years of dating, but they separated four years later.
