Justin Bieber has been given a virtual 'slapping' by UFC star Nate Diaz.

The California fighter took umbrage at the Canadian's criticism of his 'terrible' style in his victory over Ireland's Conor McGregor at UFC 196 in Las Vegas on Saturday.

Bieber has been spending time with friends after marking his 22nd birthday with a star-studded party in LA on February 27.

His 'non-exclusive' girlfriend Hailey Baldwin, 19, was there along with his rumored Fall fling Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Ashley Benson, Joe Jonas, Diddy and The Game.

He spent his actual birthday - March 1 - at Bear mountain Ski Resort at Big Bear Lake in California, where he was spotted snowboarding and drinking beer.

But on Wednesday it's back to work for the star as he begins his Purpose World Tour in Seattle.

The final concert in the series will be in London on November 29.
