This teen star is not afraid to school her elders when it comes to setting a good example.

Chloe Moretz slammed Kim Kardashian on social media on Monday after the 35-year-old reality star posted a naked picture on Instagram.

The 19-year-old actress joined comedian Bette Midler in criticizing the E! star for her raunchy post on Monday.

After re-tweeting Bette's post which suggested Kim would need to 'swallow a camera' to show anything nude at this point, the young actress said Kim needs to be a better role model.

The Carrie star commented: '@KimKardashian I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than... our bodies.'

Her comment however, immediately elicited a backlash from other Twitter users who said Chloe was 'slut shamming' the Keeping Up With The Kardashian star for been comfortable with expressing her sexuality.

Taking to Twitter again the teen said: 'There's a huge difference in respecting the platform that you're given as a celebrity and "slut shaming" something I never have done and would never do.'

Initially, Kim did not seem to be too concerned posting another picture of herself in 2015 looking at her phone. The star captioned the image: 'Reading my comments like....LOL.'

Later however, Kim tweeted - or at least someone from Kim's account did - at Chloe: 'let's all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is. your nylon cover is cute boo.'

While Chloe tried to appeal to Kim's moral side, Bette went for laughs.

The 70-year-old tweeted: 'Kim Kardashian tweeted a nude selfie today. If Kim wants us to see a part of her we've never seen, she's gonna have to swallow the camera.'

Seems not everyone agrees with Chloe and Bette as in the 17 hours since she posted the picture, Kim's nude snap got 1.2 million likes.

In the image, Kim stands naked in front of a mirror with two black bars added in Photoshop to cover the reality star's nipples and her lady parts. 

The cheeky star wrote along with the sexy image: 'When you're like I have nothing to wear LOL.' 

With her hair peroxide blonde, it seems it's a throwback snap to when she was blonde during a stint at Paris Fashion Week, as she has been sharing other flashback shots from that time on her page.
