Ariana Grande is hosting Saturday Night Live for the first time this weekend.

And it seems that the 22-year-old is very much enjoying her time working on the show, as she went to dinner in New York City with members of the cast on Tuesday.

However one thing that Ariana - who hails from Florida - is apparently not such a fan of is the cold weather.

As she finished up the meal at Lattanzi, the pop star was wrapped up in a thick black coat that was several sizes too big for her, and completely swamped her tiny frame.

Only Ariana's high heeled black satin pumps and dazzling diamond necklace were just seen underneath the jacket.

The singer and actress, who was accompanied by a burly bodyguard, of course couldn't go without her trademark high ponytail, and also wore smoky eyeshadow and bright pink lipstick.

Ariana has long been plagued with rumours of diva antics, but she happily stopped to pose for photos with her adoring fans as she left the restaurant.

On SNL this week, the Problem hit-maker will be both the host and the musical guest.

She has previously appeared on the show only as a musical guest, during an episode that was hosted by Chris Pratt in September 2014.

It's a busy time for Ariana, who is releasing her new single A Dangerous Woman later this week, off the upcoming album of the same name.

The Scream Queens star is expected to perform the track, along with another song from the album, Be Alright, on Saturday Night Live.

Ariana has also just launched a new range with Lipsy in the UK, and during an interview with MailOnline she revealed how she maintains her slim physique.

'I have been a vegan for the last few years and it has been a great experience for me,' she revealed. 'I try and live a healthy lifestyle; eating right, exercise and sleep are all so important.

Ariana said that she makes sure to fit in workouts amid her busy schedule - and gets plenty of exercise when performing.

'I try and stay really active all the time,' she shared. 'I like to hike when I can and being on stage is a great workout.'
