Reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner has attacked Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton during the opening episode of her latest reality TV show.

Jenner, 66, described the possibility of a Clinton presidency as 'unfortunate' dismissing claims that she should be more liberal because she has transitioned from a man to a woman.

The self-confessed conservative was discussing politics and the presidential election during the premiere of 'I Am Cait'.

The former Olympian said: 'If we are unfortunate enough to get Hillary as our next president, we need her on our side. But she won't be.  it would be the last place I want to be.

‘She couldn’t care less about women, she only cares about herself.’

When asked about which Republican candidate would be most supportive of transgender people, Jenner replied 'all of them'.

Jenner said some of her friends have expected her to adjust her outlook on life because of her status.

She told viewers: 'Sometimes this girls think that because I have transitioned, that I must change. That I can’t be conservative anymore or you have to be a liberal. No, I don’t believe that. I think I can keep my views the same because I feel in my heart that is the best way to go.'

Last week, Jenner offered her services to Ted Cruz's presidential campaign to become his advisor on trans issues.

She said the Canadian-born Texan senator was 'one of the worst ones when it came to trans issues'.

She told The Advocate magazine that she had met with Cruz before her transition claiming he was 'very nice'.

According to Jenner: 'I like Ted Cruz. I think he's very conservative and a great constitutionalist and a very articulate man.'

She hasn't officially endorsed Cruz but said it would be 'great' if he became president.

She added: 'Ted, love what you're doing but here's what's going on.'
