Liverpool's victory over United begs the question... has Klopp already had a greater impact on English football than Van Gaal?

Has Jurgen Klopp had more impact at Liverpool than Louis Van Gaal at Manchester United?

Liverpool put themselves in control of their Europa League last-16 clash with fierce rivals Manchester United on Thursday with a comfortable 2-0 first-leg victory at Anfield. The result and United's meek performance heaped yet more pressure on manager Louis Van Gaal who, despite a run of four straight victories prior to the game, has still yet to capture the imagination of fans, ex-pros and the media at Old Trafford. In contrast, Jurgen Klopp is quickly becoming a hero on Merseyside, with the German's outspoken nature, penchant for gegenpressing and quirky smile endearing him to supporters. Here, Sportsmail breaks down the respective impact the two top bosses have had at their current clubs...

Eddie Jones and Warren Gatland share the same DNA... their underachievement as players

SIR CLIVE WOODWARD: Normally when I look at two opposing coaches and try to evaluate them and their teams I look at their points of difference.
