Beyonce explained that it was the example set by Tina that shaped her approach to parenthood.

'My mother has instilled confidence in my sister and me and taught us to always be grateful,' she said.

The singer and actress also credits her upbringing for making her determined to succeed and not be limited by other people's expectations of her.

'Over time, I have learned to focus on the things I want to focus on in the time frame that I set,' she told the publication.

'I put enough pressure on myself. I love being 100 percent involved with all my projects and now I'm fortunate enough to do that.'

Beyonce also spoke of how she hates to try and define her 'art' because it is so personal.

'It makes me think of a Basquiat quote I read somewhere that said: 'I don't think about art when I'm working. I try to think about life.'

Meanwhile, it was claimed Wednesday that Beyonce's plan to appear in another remake of A Star Is Born with Bradley Cooper have hit a major snag.

'Beyoncé wanted too much money, and Warner Bros. balked at her price. The production budget was also said to be an issue with the studio, so the project has fallen apart,' an insider told PageSix.com

The performer was originally approached about starring in the movie when Clint Eastwood was attached to direct in 2011 and was in talks to take part in Bradley Cooper's production, when he took over the reins.

Cooper, 40, has been trying for some time to get the project off the ground that would see him move behind the camera in his directorial debut.

It's not clear if he has abandoned any plan to make the film, or if he's simply shelving it while he focuses on more acting gigs.

You'll be sure to make the cut in Gianvito Rossi mesh heels

Beyonce has gone for a stylish off duty look to accompany partner Jay-Z to the LA Clippers basketball game. Fashion Finder is loving this easy ripped jeans and black leather biker jacket combo.

But typically Queen B has upped the anti by accessorizing with a pair of Gianvito Rossi's sellout ankle strap pumps in suede mesh. Well she doesn't want to look like any ole basketball wife now does she?

A statement heel is a sure fire way to elevate a jean and biker combo into "a look" so make like Beyonce and get involved. These pump / sandal hybrids are a perfect transitional shoe for when the weather hasn't decided what it's doing.

This particular style is sold out but shop Gianvito Rossi at Net a Porter by clicking to the right or scope out our gallery below.
