But it's apparent Georgia May Foote is seriously smitten with new boyfriend Giovanni Pernice after recently telling The Daily Mirror that the dance pro is the 'best thing that's ever happened' to her.

The 25-year-old beauty - who met Giovanni during her stint in Strictly Come Dancing - revealed that the Italian heartthrob, also 25, was a light in the dark following her split from ex-boyfriend Sean Ward.

Television stars were out in force this morning for the annual TRIC Awards (Television and Radio Industries Club) and we were keenly admiring the fashion choices of those in attendance.

Georgia and Giovanni's relationship faced it's fair share of criticism in the beginning as Georgia was still dating former Coronation Street star, Sean.

But silencing any suggestion that she had been unfaithful to her former flame, the former soap star insisted that the two didn't fall for one another romantically until the series had ended, with the pretty brunette adamant it was a friendship that naturally blossomed.

And things are going from strength to strength between the genetically-blessed duo, as Georgia revealed they have already met the other's parents, with the Bury native even flying out to Sicily to be introduced to Giovanni's mother and father.

The model revealed she has already struck up quite the bond with the choreographer's parents and speaks to them regularly.

'I've been in contact with them a lot and they are lovely. He's met my parents too,' she dished.

Georgia admitted that she is also happy doting on her man and is a whiz around the house.

'I love cooking for him. He does wash pots and help out. I like being housewifey. I always have really. I like quiet nights in,' she enthused.

Georgia's candid interview comes the month after it was claim she had been left terrified after ex-boyfriend Sean allegedly flew into a violent rage following the Strictly Come Dancing final in December.

The actress, who starred opposite Sean in the ITV soap, is said to have been bruised in the fracas in which he allegedly smashed a wine bottle over his head.
