But Holly Willoughby managed to score a scorching sartorial success on Thursday, as she showcased her hourglass figure in a layered navy dress on This Morning.

Opting for an understated yet highly chic look, the 35-year-old TV favourite chose to flaunt her frame in the clinging garment.

Arriving on set alongside her co-presenter and BFF Phillip Schofield, Holly ensured that she subtly stole the limelight as she oozed a stylishly sassy yet understated vibe.

Slipping into the figure-flaunting number, which featured a sheer navy layer over a slip design, the blonde beauty tantalizingly obscured her legs while showing off her hourglass curves.

However the star retained demure edge to her look thanks to the By Malene Birger garment's high neckline and long sleeves.

The presenter recently revealed that she'd suffered a disastrous wardrobe malfunction while attending a reception for the charity Together 4 Short Lives at Downing Street when the zip on her dress broke from top to bottom.

Speaking about the ordeal on This Morning earlier in the month, she revealed she'd had to explain the whole matter to Samantha Cameron, as she was forced to wear her coat all evening.

Explaining the Prime Minister's wife's reaction, she said: 'Well I did tell her because we had a photo together and I said "I'm really sorry I'm wearing my coat" - everybody was wearing normal clothes and I'm wearing a great big winter coat.

'I was like "I'm so sorry but the zip on my dress has gone," and she just went "Oh gosh!"... so there we go, that's how I spent the night looking like that!'
