'He loved his wig!' Connie Britton reveals how excited Larry King got playing his younger self in American Crime Story

Connie Britton said Larry King was so excited he made her 'nervous' on the set of American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.

The four-time Emmy nominee - who turned 49 last Sunday - reenacted Faye Resnick's 1994 appearance on the suspender-wearing host's CNN show for the hit FX miniseries.

'He was thrilled about the wig. He was like, "I love this wig!" He was feeling so good that day!' the Nashville star recalled on Wednesday's Jimmy Kimmel Live!

'And I got a lot of information about Faye because he knew her, maybe even biblically. All I know is that he was clearly very fond of her. He was like, "Faye was a very sexy woman. Very, very flirtatious," which was very helpful for me.'

The 82-year-old journalist - who's been married eight times - currently hosts Larry King Now on Hulu.

'After the first take, he was like, "Oh my god, you're exactly like Faye! I can't believe it!" I'm thinking to myself, this is making me a little nervous,' Connie - born Constance Womack - continued.

'Literally when they called cut and they're like, "Okay, we're done with this scene." He's like, "Somebody get us a room!"'
