Melanie Griffith, 58, dons tight striped trousers after opening up on dating again after divorce from Antonio Banderas

It was an overcast and very rainy Friday in Los Angeles but that didn't stop actress Melanie Griffith.

The 58-year-old didn't bother with a coat or even an umbrella as she ran a few errands in Beverly Hills after opening up about dating again after her divorce from Antonio Banderas.

The actress slipped her slender figure into a pair of skin-tight grey and white striped trousers that made the most of her long legs, boosting her height even more with high-heeled grey bootees.

The Automata actress teamed the trousers with an equally form-fitting, grey, knitted roll-neck sweater that showed off her curvaceous bustline.

Melanie slung a small, black leather handbag over her shoulder and smiled as she walked along the sodden street.

The beautiful blonde pulled her hair up into a high pony tail with a cute grey scrunchy.

Rock the rain like Melanie in striped jeans

Melanie Griffith stepped out in a perfect rainy day ensemble consisting of a grey turtle neck and boots paired with bold striped jeans.

These jeans are from Britsh inspired, LA born brand Hudson. The pair feature a grey and white stripe pattern along with a mid rise waistline. We love the playful striped pattern for that extra bit of umph.

Although Melanie wears hers for chilly weather, these jeans would be perfect for the summer with an off the shoulder, white blouse. We're not all fortunate to have Melanie's legs for days, so we would also suggest wearing open toe sandals or rolling up the hem a bit.

And she didn't appear to be wearing much in the way of make-up, save for a bit of blusher, preferring a more natural look.

Meanwhile, the smiling star dished about getting a new start at life and love after her December divorce from actor Antonio Banderas in an interview withPeople magazine posted on Thursday.

'It's a whole new world out there,' Melanie said of dating.

'I'm having a blast. It's all new, I feel like I've got a second chance. It's all really good.'

The Working Girl star has yet to find a beau and doesn't have any fixed idea of what she wants in a new man.
