BFFs: The actress, 50, and the media mogul, 62, are good friends. They're pictured at the 2015 Golden Globes in Beverly Hills
However, Oprah did invite her and her family to visit her.
'She invited us to her house,' the actress said during her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night.
'I said, 'Now, Oprah, Julius and I will be at your doorstep with Genesis, and until you tell us to leave, we are going to be at your house.''
Genesis is the couple's four-year-old daughter Julius and Viola adopted at birth.
Said 'I do' again: Viola had a third wedding to husband Julius Tennon, 62, over the Valentine's Day weekend. The couple first tied the knot in June 2003 and repeated their vows three months later
Everyone wore white: The How To Get Away With Murder star posted this photo on her Instagram of Oprah with the couple's four-year-old daughter Genesis at the ceremony
And on her Instagram she posted a cute photo of the little girl with Oprah at their special Valentine's Day party.
'Oprah had a fabulous time. She came with Stedman,' Viola said.
'She was very, very chill. She looked cute. Everybody had to wear white. I'll tell you, the one person who definitely not fazed by Oprah was my daughter.'
Spilled the beans: Viola shared the story of her third wedding with ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel
It's the third time that Viola, 50, and Julius, 62, who tied the knot in 2003, have repeated their vows.
'The first time we got married with 15 people in our condo. It wasn't big enough. So, three months later we went to Rhode Island with about 100 people,' she explained.
'So, I wanted to have another ceremony that was pretty where I got to wear the fabulous dress with the fabulous food.'
Third time's a charm: The actress said she renewed her vows for a third time because she really wanted to have a big wedding with a white dress
