Man, 25, jumps to his death from eighth story room at the Four Seasons Hotel in Manhattan

A 25-year-old man died after jumping from a hotel room at the Four Season in Manhattan's midtown. 

NYPD responded to a call that a man had jumped from his eighth story room at 3.05am on Saturday, a law enforcement source said.

There police discovered the man unresponsive and unconscious on the ground with injuries that indicated he had fallen from an elevated location.

The unidentified man was transported to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

It is not clear if he was a staying at the hotel. 

The man is believed to be from Maryland, law enforcement source said. 

It was not clear if his family had been contacted at this time. An investigation is on going.
