A possible skull has been found at the home of reality star Mama June.

Police are sending cadaver dogs to her newly-purchased property in Griffin, Georgia, after workers spotted what they believed were human remains, TMZ reported.

The Here Comes Honey Boo Boo star, whose real name is June Shannon, bought the home as an investment and sent a team to start renovations on Saturday.

But their work was cut short after the startling discovery in an abandoned well. 

They called the police and cops are now investigating. June was not at the property at the time. 

There were reports the skull was a rock, but police are still investigating what the workers spotted.

Daily Mail Online has contacted police in Griffin for comment.

June's representatives have yet to provide a statement.

TLC canceled 'Here Comes Honey Boo Boo' in 2014 following allegations that Shannon had entered into a relationship with Mark McDaniel, a convicted sex offender.
