'He's a brat': Johnny Depp slams presidential hopeful Donald Trump while speaking at Arizona State University

He just played Donald Trump in a faux TV 80s biopic for Funny Or Die.

And on Saturday Johnny Depp had no problem skewering the presidential candidate for an audience at Arizona State University, in a video shared by TMZ

The 52-year-old, who was asked how he got into character as the billionaire businessman, described Trump as a 'brat' who had a 'sense of bullydom' about him.

Johnny went onto perform a hilarious impression of Trump - portraying him as a spoiled child.

'I want the Taj Mahal, I want the Taj Mahal, I want the Taj Mahal,' he said in The Donald's distinctive accent, during a discussion with Origins Project director Lawrence Krauss.

'Cause, you know, because everything is mine. Even if i don't own it.'

The Oscar nominee also entertained the crowd by poking fun at the way Donald speaks, noting the 'absurdity of where his sentences travel.'

He then did another impression of Trump - to the delight of the crowd - comparing Trump's pledge to erect a wall with President Ronald Reagan's famous speech in West Berlin in 1987 calling for the leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, to tear down the Berlin wall.

'You've got Reagan, back in the day, saying: "Mr Gorbachev, tear down this wall,' the star said, slipping into an impression of President Reagan.

'Donald Trump: "I'm going to build a wall", he added, laughing. "A fabulous wall, a sensational, sensational wall.

"And all of my billions are not going to pay for it because Mexicans can pay for it.'

During the dialogue - Finding the Creativity in Madness - at the university, Depp admitted it was difficult to get into character as Trump for Funny Or Die's The Art Of The Deal.

When questioned as to why, The Pirates of the Caribbean star concluded, after a pause, that 'what he is, I believe, is a brat,' a sentiment which was met with thunderous applause.

Meanwhile, in the 50-minute Funny Or Die biopic - for which the trailer is still streaming online - Johnny was joined by Alfred Molina, Stephen Merchant, Michaela Watkins, and Henry Winkler.

The grainy, faded film - meant to look retro - portrays Trump as a megalomaniac and a buffoon. It was written by Joe Randazzo, a former editor of The Onion, while Jeremy Konner, a creator of the television series Drunk History, directed the spoof.

The film is set while Trump is trying to buy the Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City from Merv Griffin in 1986.

The surprising GOP frontrunner recently cancelled his rally in Chicago after tensions rose and scuffles broke out between supporters and anti-Trump protestors.

Multiple law enforcement sources told DailyMail.com that there was a credible threat against Trump from groups of protesters who planned to storm the stage.

He later suggested Democrat Bernie Sanders was responsible for the issues in Chicago, tweeting: 'Bernie Sanders is lying when he says his disruptors aren't told to go to my events. Be careful Bernie, or my supporters will go to yours!'
