Madonna is allegedly furious with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie over his plans to make a documentary about his family and Kabbalah.

The 57-year-old singer is said to be concerned about their sons Rocco and David Banda appearing in the film, which is being shot at Guy's home in Wiltshire.

The alleged dispute over the documentary, which a source claimed was sparked when David told his mother about the idea, comes as the pair's custody battle over 15-year-old Rocco continued at a High Court in London.

The source added to Halina Watts at The Mirror: 'Madonna is the one who introduced Guy to Kabbalah and she doesn't want it to go ahead.

'She doesn't want Rocco or David to be in it and they are having to rework it. It has caused a big problem.'

Guy and his wife Jacqui, who he married last year and has three children with, are said to be doing everything they can to ensure the film goes ahead.

The news emerged after Madonna yesterday told the High Court judge she wanted to 'heal the wounds' in the custody dispute with Guy.

Mr Justice MacDonald began hearing submissions at a private hearing in the Family Division of the court earlier this week after Rocco has not returned to his mother's home since last December.

The teenager had been living with his mother in New York after she divorced Guy in December 2008, citing his unreasonable behaviour.

But last December, while travelling through Europe with his mother on her Rebel Heart tour, he decided to stay with his father.

Madonna had made an application under the Hague Convention, which deals with the abduction of children, for the return of Rocco who was said to have been illegally retained and not returned as originally planned.

It comes as Madonna said she wanted to 'heal the wounds' in her dispute with Guy over the future of their son Rocco

Her counsel David Williams QC said yesterday the star was 'hoping that the trust between a mother and her son will be strong enough to accept that this is what she truly wants'.

Mr MacDonald also imposed reporting restrictions on several aspects of the case in a bid to protect Rocco. Neither Madonna nor Guy were present at the court.

He has previously expressed a 'fervent hope' that the pair will settle and resolve the issues between them.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Madonna for comment who said there was no truth to the reports. Guy's representatives would not comment.
