Idol reunion! Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest grab dinner together in West Hollywood as reality show nears end
There was an Idol reunion of sorts Friday night in Los Angeles as Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Ryan Seacrest met up for dinner.
The trio were spotted at famed Italian eatery Cecconi's on trendy Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood.
Also joining the two former judges and the show's host was Nigel Lythgoe, American Idol's original producer.

Cowell, 56, dressed down for the dinner date, showing up in faded denims and a blue sweater with pointed toe black shoes.
Jackson, 59, cut a more stylish figure, pairing skinny jeans with a crisp high-collar white shirt and burgundy coat, with wedge black shoes.
But it was Seacrest, 41, who went won the fashion award with his ensemble of a bespoke dark blue suit, unbuttoned white shirt and brown brogues.
Pals: Seacrest and Jackson were seen getting a hug and a kiss goodbye from Nigel Lythgoe, Idol's original producer who joined the trifecta for dinner
American Idol is in its 15th and final season on Fox.
It made the British Cowell a household name in the U.S. and launched the stateside career of fellow Brit Lythgoe, who went on to create and star in So You Think You Can Dance.
Cowell exited Idol in 2010 moving on to produce and appear in reality competitions The X Factor and America's Got Talent.
Dressed down: Cowell, 56, who quit being an American Idol judge in 2010, looked as if he hadn't bothered to shave for his dinner date with his fellow Hollywood heavyweights
Dapper: Jackson, 59, who spent 12 seasons as a judge on the singing contest, showed his sartorial elegance, donning a burgundy check coat over a crisp high-neck white short with skinny jeans
Heavy hitter: Seacrest, 41, epitomized his status as a Hollywood player in a designer suit and white shirt
The fact that he was seen with his former Idol stars could indicate that he, along with Jackson who spent 12 seasons as a judge on the show before leaving in 2014, will indeed be appearing one last time before the singing contest finally wraps.
Cowell certainly is keen to make a farewell appearance.
'I think just because I started on the show I should do something,' he told E! this week.
