It's famously known as the happiest place on earth.

Disneyland is also the most exhausting place on earth as the tired parents of equally tired little ones will tell you.

Both Alicia Silverstone and her bearded pal were spotted carrying her four-year-old son Bear Blu and giving him piggy back rides as they made their way through crowds at the incredibly popular theme park in Anaheim, California, on Sunday.

The 39-year-old looked cute, if a little frazzled, as she flashed her legs in a pair of denim Daisy Dukes.

She teamed them with a sheer, light pink vest covered with images of flowers plus grey sneakers, a sensible choice of footwear for a day spent mainly on her feet.

Bear was decked out in a grey, short-sleeved T-shirt, shorts with a camouflage pattern and bright red Vans sneakers.

The Clueless star was probably grateful for the help of the male friend who joined her at Disneyland.

He was equally casually dressed a black and blue plaid shirt over a black T-shirt and blue patterned Bermuda shorts.

The man had more than a passing resemblance to her musician husband Christopher Jarecki, but looked far shorter than the rocker who towers over his 5ft 6ins wife.

Alicia and the 39-year-old tied the knot in 2005. 

Meanwhile, Alicia was spotted filming her new movie, Tribes Of Palos Verdes, with Jennifer Garner in the upscale Los Angeles neighbourhood on Thursday.

Alicia plays a tennis coach who Jennifer believes her husband, played by Justin Long, is having an affair with, though the two seemed to be getting along just fine in real life.
