Grieving family members wept over the coffins of their relatives (main) at funeral services in Ankara after a suicide bomb blast killed at least 37 people and injured 125 others in the heart of the Turkish capital. As Turkey began to hold funerals for 17 people, details emerged about some of the victims, which included the father of a Galatasaray footballer. Shocking CCTV footage (inset) shows cars travelling close to the main square when a massive explosion rips through the area, setting nearby vehicles ablaze. Security officials said one of the two suspects was a woman who joined the Kurdish PKK militant group in 2013. The other was a man whose severed hand was found 300 metres from the blast site. Turkish jets responded by pounding Kurdish rebel targets hours after Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed to bring terrorism 'to its knees'.
