He wore a white T-shirt, grey sweatpants and neon orange crock-style rubber sandals.

A bright green beanie did add a bit of pizzazz to the drab ensemble.

TMZ managed to get some questions in before he was spirited away, though the apparent injuries did not come up.

The stand up star did seem to remain confident, even in the face of his many charges, claiming 'we will have our day in court and we will be exonerated.'

However, he was slightly more contrite when asked about his state of mind.

'I’ve been famous for twenty years and you don’t get to take the blessings and perks of it and then complain about the fact that you can’t go anywhere unnoticed. It makes you a target.'

Numerous troubles with the law have plagued the talented comedian lately, including a robbery charge in Los Angeles which involves co-defendant - and famous hip hop producer - Marion 'Suge' Knight.

More recently, he was accused of stealing five women's cellphones at gunpoint for unlawfully taking his picture, and charged with punching a pool supplies store employee in the head after he claimed the employee called him the 'n word.'

Apparently his latest incarceration stems from a February 28 incident, in which the comedian allegedly threatened to kill Corey Dixon, his reported bodyguard.
