Love in full bloom? Kristen Stewart is greeted with flowers at the airport by rumoured new girlfriend SoKo

They don't call it the city of love for nothing.

Kristen Stewart was treated to what appeared to be a very romantic welcoming party of one as she touched down in Paris, France, on Sunday.

The 25-year-old actress was greeted at Charles de Gaulle airport with a bouquet of roses from rumoured new girlfriend SoKo.

While neither have confirmed their romance as yet, the two women's reunion certainly seemed like one between two long distance partners.

French actress and singer Soko - whose real name is Stéphanie Sokolinski - was spotted waiting patiently for Kristen at arrivals for some time with the flowers in her hand.

The 30-year-old peered down the hallway at passengers as they made their way out of customs, waiting for the Twilight star to emerge.

When Kristen finally did come out - without any luggage except for backpack - SoKo immediately threw her arm around Kristen.

Romantic rendezvous:  While they have not defined their relationship, their reunion seemed as though it was between two partners as the French actress and singer Soko - whose real name is Stéphanie Sokolinski - was spotted waiting patiently for Kristen at arrivals for some time with the flowers in her hand 

Keeping a hold of the flowers in one hand, the singer did not let go of the American Ultra star as they walked out of the airport.

In fact, the French star only moved her hand from the back of Kristen's neck once and that was to gently rub her back.

While she was far less affectionate, the infamously sullen Kristen seemed to be happy to be in SoKo's company and even came close to breaking into a smile despite spotting a photographer.

Kristen Stewart kept things casual when she landed at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris. The Twilight star wore a t-shirt and baggy jeans, topping off her look with a black hoodie and a backpack.

She added a bright pop of color to her outfit with a pair of red Vans sneakers. The canvas sneakers were instantly recognizable with their signature wavy stripe along the sides.

Posting a picture of herself FaceTiming someone, SoKo called the picture her 'FaceTime Romance' and wrote 'Spending every minute of my days and nights loving her from afar.'

On March 9, the singer tweeted excitedly about something being only four days away, which no doubt was referring to Kristen's arrival.

SoKo is relatively unknown in the US but in France has had an acting and signer career for over a decade, she is also a fashion darling and sat front row at the Chanel Paris fashion Week show last week.

While SoKo is open about being a lesbian, Kristen has previously said she chooses not to define her sexuality with a term.

The 25-year-old told NYLON magazine last year: 'If you feel like you really want to define yourself, and you have the ability to articulate those parameters and that in itself defines you, then do it.

'But I am an actress, man. I live in the f**king ambiguity of this life and I love it. I don't feel like it would be true for me to be like, ''I'm coming out!'' No, I do a job.

Last year, she was romantically linked to assistant Alicia Cargile although neither party ever confirmed the relationship.
