One of Silicon Valley's top venture capitalists has been accused of violently raping, emotionally tormenting, and drugging a 'human trafficking victim' who he kept as a sex slave for more than 13 years. Michael Goguen (pictured center left with Donald Trump's ex Marla Maples, center right, and musician Won-G, center) a 20-year partner at Sequoia Capital, parted ways with the company which backed Apple, Google, Youtube, PayPal, and DropBox after his alleged victim filed a lawsuit in California on Tuesday. Amber Baptiste (pictured left and right in photos filed in court by Gougen's defense team) claims she met Goguen in a strip club in Texas months after she was trafficked to America from Canada at the age of 15 in 2001. According to legal papers, Goguen - who was married with two children - offered to save her from her traffickers if she agreed to have sex with him. But over the next 13 years, she claims, he habitually raped her, forced her to call him 'king' or 'emperor', and infected her with HPV, and sodomized her for six hours at a time.

Designer James Fridman turns people's personal photos into satirical pictures by manipulating them to respond to their unrealistic requests. He started posting the pictures on his Twitter feed just a few days ago and he already has more than 45,000 followers. Many of the pictures featured so far are either bathroom selfies or pictures taken on the beach

A much beloved contestant on the popular reality show Extreme Weight Loss passed away over the weekend. Rod Durham (left, inset), 52, was found by housekeepers at his hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where the high school English teacher had been spending his spring break. Durham's cause of death if believed to have been diabetic shock. He became an inspiration for millions back in 2014 when he lost an impressive 180 lbs. thanks to diet and exercise while competing on Extreme Weight Loss (right with hosts Chris and Heidi Powell).

In the one-minute video, seven women read out comments Trump made regarding Princess Diana, Megyn Kelly, Rosie O'Donnell, his wife Melania, and women in general. The clip begins with: 'Bimbo', 'dog' and 'fat pig' - insults that Trump has thrown at, respectively, Kelly, New York Times columnist Gail Collins and O'Donnell. It includes several derogatory comments Trump has made towards women's physical appearances, such as: 'I'd look her right in that fat ugly face of hers', also directed towards O'Donnell. Princess Diana wasn't immune to Trump's comments, as he once said: 'She had the height, she had the beauty, she had the skin. She was crazy, but these are minor details.'

Caitlyn Jenner posted a photo of herself and Hillary Clinton the day after she attacked the presidential hopeful during an episode of her reality show, I Am Cait. Jenner said of Clinton on Sunday's episode of her show; 'What has she done in her life? What has she done? What has she done? She was horrible. Look at all of the things that are going on in the Middle East because of what she did. Look at Benghazi. She lied to us, she is a f***ing liar.' She then added; 'She is a political hack, that's all she is, she has done nothing.' It was a surprise therefore to see Jenner with her arm around Clinton in the photo she posted Monday.

NEW Norwegian mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik raised his right arm in a Nazi salute on Tuesday as he arrived for the first day of the lawsuit he is bringing against the Norwegian state to change the conditions of his detention. Breivik, 37, murdered 77 people and injured more than 300 - many of them teenagers - in July 2011,  by detonating a bomb in downtown Oslo and carrying out a mass shooting on Utoya Island. Breivik claims he is a 'a victim of cruel and inhuman treatment' in Skien prison, 87 miles south-west of Oslo, where he has an entire cellblock to himself and access to a computer and a PlayStation.

The story of a young girl who miraculously managed to survive falling headfirst down a a hollowed-out tree (inset) then landing on her skull will hit the big screen later this week. Miracles From Heaven, which stars Jennifer Garner (right with Annabel on Sunday) as the young girl's mother, tells the story of Annabel Beam (left after her fall), who was nine-years-old when the incident occurred and who managed to come out of the ordeal with barely a scratch. Making the story even more remarkable is here claim that during the few hours she was trapped in the tree she went to heaven and spoke to Jesus - who cured her of a lifelong illness. In a recent interview her mother spoke about her daughter's experience, and how perplexed doctors were when after her daughter's fall her illness really did go away.

NEW Military personnel have been seen loading equipment and boxes onto Ilyushin Il-76 heavy lift transport aircraft at Russia's Hmeymim air base in Latakia province, Syria. The Kremlin has used the base, which Putin (inset) said Russia would keep along with a naval facility at Tartous, to mount a five-month campaign of air strikes to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, an intervention that has tipped the balance of power in the Syrian leader's favour. The disgraced cyclist flew to Las Vegas to help the 'King of Instagram' Dan Bilzerian prepare for a bike ride that's part of a $1.2million bet. Bilzerian, the son of a wealthy takeover specialists, has a wager with hedge fund manager and poker player Bill Perkins. He has to pedal from Los Angeles to Las Vegas - roughly 300 miles - in 48 hours. The ride will feature some tough climbs through the Mojave Desert.

Amber Romero, 18, became involved in a fight on her way home from school in Wendell, North Carolina, during which she bit the earlobe off fellow student Emiyah Lane Brown, 16. Miss Lane Brown required surgery on her earlobe, and Romero has now been charged with 'inflicting serious bodily injury'. The incident has similarities with Mike Tyson's infamous fight with Evander Holyfield(inset), leading to some U.S. news sources branding Romero 'Miss Tyson'.

NEW Five women in dresses and stilettos were seen wrestling each other in a wild brawl at Rosehill races that left one of them with a black eye. The women were filmed pulling each other's hair, throwing drinks and dragging each other to the ground in the 'vicious' brawl during Ladies Day at Sydney's Rosehill Gardens on Saturday. Mobile phone footage shows one women in a blue dress and white fascinator pulling another woman to the floor and holding her down before she was dragged away by police officers. NSW Police are reviewing footage of the fight and said no one has been charged.

Nausheen Rahman (left and right), 28, the mom who threw her newborn baby girl in the trash (inset), knew the baby was alive and thought it was a boy before she cut the umbilical cord and stuffed it in a garbage bag. Rahman didn't get bail because her attorney didn't request it after prosecutors described the case as 'so 'horrendous and reprehensible, it's mind-blowing'. She was charged with second-degree murder and concealment of a human corpse. She told investigators that she wasn't aware the sex of the baby was a girl and threw it in the trash bag as she assumed it was a baby boy. Her family allegedly knew nothing about her pregnancy. And a man, who appeared to be her father, said that 'it's a minor case anyway'. Police found the baby Saturday around 11.30am 'with her thumb next to her mouth'.

NEW Iris Grace Halmshaw, six, from Leicestershire, and her Maine coon cat Thula are inseparable and the affectionate moggy has helped the little girl to overcome her fear of water and even talk. Iris had already gained fans across the world thanks to her intricate artwork, which can fetch up to £1,500 - but her online followers also love to follow her adventures with her devoted feline friend.

US-based Instagrammer @babybelly_to_sixpack, who doesn't use her real name on her account, shares her fitness progress online. After giving birth to her first child in 2013, she decided to get in shape. She lost more than 50lbs from her highest pregnancy weight - and then maintained her fitness regimen through her second pregnancy, working out at her home gym, running, lifting weights, and sticking to a healthy diet. After giving birth, she lost 10lbs in a week, and went on to drop from 178lbs at 40 weeks to 148lbs five months later.

Barry Diller, the chairman of IAC, was so enamored by his pooch, Shannon, that he got his beloved pet's DNA cloned by a specialist pair of puppies who are almost exact replicas of the dog. It is unknown when the dog's DNA was cloned, but Diller and his wife, Diane von Fürstenberg, appear to have two new puppies running around already.

Utility workers from Suez Water said that residents should expect main breaks to continue at an average of two per month until the city replaces the 41 miles of aging infrastructure, including some pipes that are more than 100 years old.

Former Yale basketball captain Jack Montague plans to sue the school for failing to support him after he was accused of sexual assault. Montague, who had led the Bulldogs to the top of the Ivy conference, was expelled last month after a student made a formal complaint of sexual assault against him.  The 22-year-old insists he and the woman, who was not named, had consensual sex four times - and that she even woke him up during the night to perform oral sex.

NEW The two girls were snorkelling with whale sharks in the Philippines when one becomes trapped between the boat and the enormous fish and it comes forward to nibble her. But both laugh hysterically at the once in a lifetime encounter. As a filter feeder, whale sharks have no interest in humans and mainly eat plankton. They can reach lengths of 40ft and weigh on average 20.6 tons.

NEW Japanese high school student Ikuya Hara posted the video on Twitter. He launches the plane from the balcony in Ebina, Kanagawa Prefecture and its flies for 24 seconds. Hara then manages to catch it as it flies back to him, boomerang-style. The video has now gone viral with nearly 60,000 retweets and 70,000 likes.

Inventor Colin Furze, from the UK, pictured, made sure to have the camera rolling as he tried out his zany idea for the first time. He was wearing a pair of socks tied to the rocket with white string (pictured inset). Moments after he pulled the trigger on the shoulder-mounted launcher, his socks were whipped off his feet (pictured main) and sent flying across the deserted field.

Tourists at a nature park in Thailand were captivated by an adorable elephant unable to contain her glee after she broke a water sprinkler - again. Faa Sai the elephant was rescued from a life of abuse and now lives at the Elephant Nature Park in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The video shows the elephant clearly delighted as she splashes and rolls around in the water. And it's not the first time she's broken the sprinkler system - the park says Faa Sai makes it a regular occurrence but because it makes her so happy, no-one really wants to stop her.
