They may once have been married but when it comes to Sin City, these two do things very differently.

Since Britney Spears landed her residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, Las Vegas has unofficially become the kingdom of the pop star.

But on Saturday, her ex Kevin Federline was doing his best to make Sin City his town - at least for a night.

The 36-year-old decided to celebrate his birthday a few days early by partying it up at famed strip club Crazy Horse III.

The married former backup singer was surrounded in a bevy of scantily clad women at the club where he arrived just before midnight.

However, he will not have any explaining to do as his wife, Victoria, was right by his side even as he made it rain on some curvaceous lingerie-clad women using a money gun.

Victoria also ensured that when his actual birthday swings around on March 21 he can relieve the saucy celebration, as she picked up some naughty underwear from the club's shop.

According to a club insider, the former Mr. Spears was joined by entourage of friends including his brothers Chris and Patrick, to cerebrate his upcoming birthday.

The insider said as soon as he arrived fans stopped him to wish him a happy birthday before the star then sat at one of the club's VIP booths with his wife, brothers and friends.

The group got into the party mood sipping on Ciroc vodka and Crown Royale.

The night, however, was not all scantily clad women and bottle service, the former backup dancer mixed business with pleasure, hitting the stage himself.

But, Kevin did not dance or try his hand at working the pole but instead a spun a set from the DJ booth.

While Kevin and Britney are on relatively good terms, the singer did not join in the celebrations.

Britney has been splitting her time between Los Angeles and Las Vegas but she had a night off from her Pieces Of Me show so no doubt was not in town to attend, even if she wanted to.

Britney and Kevin were married from 2004 to 2007 and share two sons, Sean and Jayden.

Kevin has four other children - two with Victoria and two from a previous relationship with Shar Jackson.
