Supergirl's Melissa Benoist debuts ombré hair colour and rocks orange suede pumps at PaleyFest

Supergirl starlet Melissa Benoist debuted her new ombré hair colour at the 33rd Annual PaleyFest in Hollywood on Sunday.

The 27-year-old actress rocked her new dip-dyed 'do with a fierce pair of orange suede pumps featuring stiletto heels.

Stylist Karla Welch also dressed the Texas-born, Colorado-raised beauty in a black turtleneck and a chevron-patterned, ankle-length skirt.

Melissa's button-up skirt featured power-clashing floral pockets, and she sported minimal make-up for the promotional event.

Benoist - who posed with co-stars Chyler Leigh and Jeremy Jordan - is next scheduled to appear on the March 18 episode of NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Also at Paley Center were their Supergirl producers Ali Adler and Greg Berlanti, as well as castmates David Harewood and Mehcad Brooks.

'I think Cat is happy and feels safe about having Supergirl around,' Calista said of her 'shallow' character Cat Grant.

'She wants to help her succeed in any way she can.'

The 51-year-old Golden Globe winner also said the CatCo Worldwide Media CEO was a feminist not unlike Ally McBeal.

Meanwhile, Melissa said her character Kara Danvers/Zor-El was inspired by the late Robin Williams' high-flying Peter Pan in Hook.

'Hook inspired me as a kid. I lost myself in that movie. Robin Williams is magical and unbelievable in it,' the Danny Collins actress said. 

However, flying 'never gets any easier' for Benoist in the superhero series, which currently airs Mondays on CBS.
