Coastalwatch surf reporters are the saltiest locals around. Part fish, part shark, part human, they live for the waves and are usually more local than the locals. They’ll be up before dawn waiting for first light to reveal the days surf conditions and can sense a change of wind from a sparrows fart. Each reporter covers a region of coastline which includes many number of surf spots and beaches. NE swell 2ft @ 14 seconds. S winds 3 knots. Glassy conditions with some small fun looking waves around. Bit of a wait between sets but when they come through they are looking ok. Winds will increase and swing to the NE.
