Mr Atkinson and his ex-wife, Tara Maxwell, had split up a year before the child's sudden death, and lived in different states. Five women in dresses and stilettos were seen wrestling each other in a wild brawl at Rosehill races that left one of them with a black eye. The women were filmed pulling each other's hair, throwing drinks and dragging each other to the ground in the 'vicious' brawl during Ladies Day at Sydney's Rosehill Gardens on Saturday. Mobile phone footage shows one women in a blue dress and white fascinator pulling another woman to the floor and holding her down before she was dragged away by police officers. NSW Police are reviewing footage of the fight and said no one has been charged.

Amy Hazel (pictured), from Melbourne, Victoria, is known as 'The Pole Dancing Unicorn.' The 23-year-old is one of the best pole dancers in Australia but still doesn't think she is 'flexible enough' - especially when she compares herself to others. The young dancer developed the condition after struggling with eating disorders but has since tried to stop comparing herself to others and encourages others to accept themselves for who they are. The talented pole artist has taken out numerous pole dancing competitions and is currently Miss Pole Dance Victoria, 2016. She trains up to six hours per day to maintain her strength and flexibility. Her workouts include contortion classes, hula hooping, yoga, gym workouts, handstand training, running and long walks on the beach.

A Martian researcher discovered a 30-meter UFO in top-secret Area S4 near Area 51 in 2010 using Google Maps. Scott C. Waring, from UFO Sightings Daily, shares a trick to 'travel back in time' on Google Maps in order to see the large saucer housed in the specially made, 'climate controlled' hanger. The Martian vehicle is near the 'third dry lake left of Area 51' - the exact area an ex-employee claims housed UFOs in 1989. Waring points out circular objects towards the opening of the hanger and suggests the Millennium Falcon is parked underneath.

A Chinese family has taken the internet by storm for having an ageless appearance after pictures of them were shared online. Web user sysev7n was cleaning out her father's photographs at their home in Chengdu when she spotted the old snaps (right, main). Compared to a series of photos taken on a recent family holiday (left and inset), the woman noticed that her parents looked like they haven't aged a day. After the images were posted onto Chinese social media Weibo, the family's youthful appearance became an instant hit.

Jessica Linehan, from Kent, hanged herself in her father Charles's home just before last Christmas because she was unable to see her son and daughter - who were in Zambia with their father, an inquest heard. The 36-year-old recovering heroin addict left no suicide note but had bought Christmas presents for her children, Ashiana, 11, and nine-year-old Daniel. Jessica was prevented from seeing her children by her lawyer ex-husband, who retain sole custody using the Zambian court system.

Hundreds of strange round barren patches of grassland, each up to 22 feet across (pictured top right), have been found in a remote area of outback near Newman, in Pilbara, Western Australia (pictured left), 6,200 miles from the Namib desert in southern Africa (pictured bottom right) where they had previously been seen. Scientists have long been baffled by what causes the strange patterns. Local legends say they are created by the footsteps of gods or the breath of dragons, while others claim they are marks left by landing UFOs. Scientists have proposed termites could be responsible, or underground toxic gas. However, the new discovery in Australia has provided new clues as to what could be causing them to form.

Adam Reed Tucker, 44, from Chicago, is one of only 14 Lego Certified professionals in the world. He has recreated (clockwise from left) The World Trade Center, the Golden Gate Bridge, Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater House, San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts and the Great Pyramid of Giza, among many others. Tucker was inspired to return to Legos as the financial crisis hit and he yearned to return to working with his hands.

Thanks to a dedicated teacher, and some (camera) magic, these young Indian children can be seen playing a game of Quidditch on the slopes of the Himalayas. Anshu Agarwal, 25, was able to make it appear as if the children in the village of Kalap in nothern India's Utterakhand province, are playing the wildly popular game from the Harry Potter books.

The map pinpoints the exact location of every bomb dropped by either the Royal Air Force or the United States Army Air Forces from the start of the conflict in 1939 until its end six years later. It vividly demonstrates the importance of the 1.6million tonnes of explosive deployed against the Germans and their allies - and the way Britain and America collaborated in the war. The animation was created by researchers from the Imperial War Museum in order to mark the re-opening of the American Air Museum in Duxford, Cambridgeshire. Only around 70 Kazakh eagle hunters take part in the annual Golden Eagle festival in Mongolia and this breathtaking collection displays the 4,000-year-old art in all of its glory. Professional photographer Massimo Rumi captured the series of pictures when he travelled to the region to witness the occasion first-hand and to experience the nomadic lifestyle of the Kazakh people.

The brilliant images were taken by Alice van Kempen, from the Netherlands, of her bull terriers Alice and Willow (inset) playing around at the beach. She said: 'I was just taking some snaps of my dogs at the beach. But when I was processing the photos, I noticed some of the silhouettes looked very funny. 'I immediately recognised a centaur, where the dogs were jumping on top of or behind each other. I laughed. I thought it was hilarious. I knew when I saw them they were great pictures. I'm glad I managed to get a picture of such a mythical creature!'
