Jay Ajayi is planning to take his game to another level as the Miami Dolphins running back prepares to begin the grind for the 2016 NFL season.
London-born Ajayi was selected by the Dolphins in the fifth round of last year's draft and featured in the final nine games after recovering from two broken ribs.
And with the free agent running back Lamar Miller looking likely to depart the Sunshine State, Ajayi is preparing himself for a big season, after meeting one of his heroes, ex-Arsenal star Thierry Henry.

'I'm planning on taking my game to another level this year I just want to keep improving and from last year I was able to do some good things. I'm preparing myself for a great year and bringing my game to the next level,' the 22-year-old said.
'Once I get back to Miami my mindset is going to switch and it will be really on focusing on next season and getting into grind mode.'
The Dolphins, normally one of the big movers in free agency, appointed Adam Gase as head coach, and Ajayi is looking forward to working for the offensive guru.
'I'm excited to work with coach Gase. Everything that I've heard about him and read have been positive things. And he's done well. His running backs have done well under him so I'm excited to work with him for sure.'
During a week spent in his homeland, Ajayi got to see his beloved Arsenal play in the flesh, but the dream did not pan out as expected with the Gunners losing 2-1 to Swansea City.
He did, however, meet a hero as all-time Arsenal top scorer Henry surprised Ajayi in the Sky Sports studios.
'I wasn't expecting that, but it was really cool for him to do that for me and getting to talk to him afterwards. I was glad that NFLUK set that up,' said a grateful Ajayi.
