Kim Kardashian has been spotted on her phone while driving near her Calabasas home.

Back in 2010, Kim posted a series of tweets about her 'awful texting and driving experiences,' during filming for her family's reality show Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami.

'A cop texting & driving in the car next to us! This disturbs me! What do u guys think? Texting or using your cell in Florida is NOT illegal...just FYI! I think it should be, I had a scare myself and never will again!'

'I had an awful texting and driving experience, can't wait to share it with u all one day! Seriously its so unsafe and its so preventable!!!,' she added.

Meanwhile across town on Tuesday, Kim's husband Kanye West decided to make use of the ever present photographers - by getting them to give him a lift.

The 38-year-old was being questioned as usual by photographers as he waited to go from one gym to another in LA.

Having emerged from a workout with Kim, the rapper was staring at his phone wondering where his Uber was, when the videographer cheekily offered him a lift - and Kanye accepted.

'I don't need Uber anymore,' he declared. 'I just have the paps take me where I want to go!'

'I'll ride with you then,' he added. 'come on, let's go!'

The Life Of Pablo hitmaker was in fine form, smiling and chatting with his new chauffeurs.

'Do y'all like that term, 'the paps'? he queried as they walked towards the car. 'Do you take that as like [an insult]?'

Jumping in shotgun, he told the driver he was heading to 'celebrity trainer' Harley Pasternak's gym in Santa Monica, before turning to the rear seat passenger and politely asking him to turn off the camera while he made a phone call.

Upon arriving, Kanye proudly told Pasternak how he got there, who proceeded to crack up laughing.

After asking the departing West if he had any message for his fans, he replied: 'I love you - let's make the world a better place.'
