Liverpool will train at Old Trafford on Wednesday ahead of their Europa League second leg with Manchester United.

Jurgen Klopp has decided to treat the game as a normal European away match in contrast to United who applied for special dispensation from UEFA to train at their Carrington base and stay in Manchester ahead of the first leg.

Competition rules state visiting sides must stay within a 27-mile radius of the home team's venue. The distance between the two cities is around 34 miles.

Klopp though will not follow suit. He will give a news conference at the ground at around 5.15pm and follow that by overseeing training at 6pm.

Liverpool dominated the first leg and their convincing 2-0 victory leaves them in a strong position for the second leg.

Daniel Sturridge fired Liverpool ahead from the penalty spot before Roberto Firmino's close-range effort gave Klopp's side a two-goal cushion.

Meanwhile, Liverpool's re-arranged fixture with Chelsea at Anfield will take place on Wednesday May 11 while the Merseyside derby will be played on Wednesday April 20 at Anfield.

Everton's re-arranged match at Sunderland will take place on Wednesday May 11.
