They may have been married for near-on three years.

But Kate Bosworth and Michael Polish proved they're as besotted with one another as they were in the honeymoon period as they put on a sweet display while out and about in West Hollywood, Los Angeles, on Tuesday.

The Still Alice actress and her screenwriter spouse were sartorially in sync as they both picked out a variation of denim trousers and a muted shirt for their outing to Melrose Avenue.

Kate, 33, looked every inch the sophisticated LA lady as she slipped into a pair of two-tone jean culottes which featured raw hems.

She teamed the statement piece with a plain white shirt which was short-sleeved in design and featured a delicate collar.

The talented screen star prioritised comfort when it came to her footwear and strapped on a pair of black patent leather flats.

Kate sported a face of day-appropriate make-up while she braved leaving her natural blonde tresses unstyled.

She accessorised with a mini tote bag, a pair of a cat-eye-lens sunglasses and her hunky husband.

Meanwhile, Michael - who is a twin with Mark Polish, an established American actor - made an effort to match with his impeccably turned-out spouse.

He, too, pulled on some jeans - a similar shade to Kate's - and styled the every day staple with a grey, long-sleeved shirt and a pair of box-fresh Dr. Marten shoes.

The couple looked happier than ever as they strolled down the street arm-in-arm with the Hollywood actress affectionately nuzzling into the talented director's neck at one point.

Kate and Michael first got together in 2011 after meeting on the set of Big Sur which he directed.

They married in August in 2013 at a ceremony in Philipsburg, Montana.
