Jackass star Steve-O has revealed he went onto a three-hour cocaine binge with Mike Tyson in a party bathroom.

Steve-O, who made a name for himself with his outlandish stunts, described crashing a Hollywood Hills party only for the famous boxer to open the door.

'He said “You got any coke?”, the TV star, whose real name is Stephen Glover, told GQ magazine.

'And I told him, “Yeah, dude, I got a bunch.” And I did. I had like a whole eight ball in one pocket, half an eight ball in the other pocket.'

The 41-year-old star of Jackass TV show and movies said the pair had locked themselves in a bathroom where they spent the next three hours taking cocaine.

Steve-O, said that they'd got into a deep conversation about race in America during the binge.

'I said to him, my exact words, 'You know, Mike, I don't have a racist bone in my body, but I like to consider myself a n****r,'' Steve-O said.

'I'll never forget, he said, 'You ask me, the definition of that word is anybody who uses it.' And I was like, 'Damn! Iron Mike, deep as f**k!''

And that was not the only time Tyson and Steve-O would spend together.

The next time they saw one another was when they were both locked up together on a psychiatric ward together, he said.

While he would not elaborate why either was there, the Jackass star said he spent the time with Tyson trying to persuade him to film a stunt where Steve-O would give himself a black eye by running into him.

Tyson declined.

But that wasn't the end of their bizarre friendship.

In 2011, at the Comedy Central Roast with Charlie Sheen, the pair reunited for a Jackass stunt which saw Steve-O finally persuade Tyson, 49, to break his nose.

Steve-O came to fame with Jackass in the early 2000s - often by putting his body through exorbitant amounts of pain.

But he told KIIS FM's that he's trying to change his ways and 'grow up' in recent years.

When the star's partying got out of control in 2008, his co-star Johnny Knoxville and friends intervened to send him to rehab.

At his lowest point, he described snorting his drug dealer's blood mixed with cocaine out of desperation for his next high.

And having overcome drug and alcohol addictions, the star has moved on to his next demon, revealing he ‘went to see a sex therapist' and has been celibate for over seven months.

'Any man that's been on television with any kind of regularity is a sex addict,' he said to the top Sydney hosts, 'that's my theory.'

Steve-O confessed that, no matter how hard he tried, 'I just couldn't keep it in my pants.'

Steve-O has moved into stand up comedy although he hasn't abandoned his roots, saying he usually ends his performances with 'a few stunts.'

He also insists that, despite giving up the drugs and booze, he has not lost his edge.

After he was sentenced to 30 days in jail for climbing a crane during a protest at SeaWorld, he posted online: 'Considering I've become a clean and sober, dog-rescuing vegan, I must say I'm ready to go to jail-- not just because it will bring so much attention to the plight of Orcas in captivity, but because it's nice to let people know I haven't lost my edge.'

'What can I say,' he continued, 'I'm a jackass. My whole crane-climbing, fireworks debacle really turned out to be pretty meaningful in the end, too.

Steve-O has recently begun dating tattooed musician Kat Von D who is based in California.

The couple spent their first Christmas together and often boast about their relationship on their respective Instagram accounts.
